South Carolina Concealed Carry
Prerequisite: NONE | One Full Day | $40
NOTE: This class is free with our intro to pistol class.
This course is the standard SLED (South Carolina Law Enforcement Division) approved class required for obtaining a SC CWP (Concealed Weapon Permit).
It is designed to teach an individual the absolute basics required for choosing, owning, carrying, and operating a handgun safely. Case and statutory laws pertaining to the use of deadly force are also covered. Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to apply for the South Carolina Concealed Carry Permit.
DURATION: 1/2 DAY / 4 HOURS
Course content includes:
- Firearm Safety
- Fundamentals of Handgun Marksmanship
- Handgun Proficiency Course of Fire (qualification)
- South Carolina Statutory Case Laws Relating to Handguns and the Use of Deadly Force
Ammunition Requirements:
100rounds of pistol ammunition (approximate)
Gear List:
Pistol, holster (strong side belt mounted are allowed), three magazines, magazine holder, clear wrap-around eye protection, ear protection, weapons cleaning kit.
NOTE: No shoulder, small of back, or ankle holsters will be allowed. You must have a strong side, belt mounted holster to participate.
