Intro to Carbine
Prerequisite: NONE | One Day | $50
This is an entry level course that focuses on teaching the student the operational characteristics of their firearms. Students will progress from basic handling and marksmanship skills to advanced shooting drills. This course focuses on the fundamentals of carbine shooting and techniques that will allow the student to develop skills that will increase their speed, accuracy, and confidence with their weapon in a tactical environment.
The following topics will be covered during the course:
Characteristics and accessories
Fundamentals of carbine shooting
Shooting positions and transitioning to shooting positions
Multiple target engagement
Firing from barricades
Minimum of 300 rounds
Carbine, sling, minimum of four carbine magazines, plate carrier, chest rig, tac-vest, or some type of carbine magazine holders capable of holding all 4 magazines, belt, eye protection, ear protection, weapons cleaning kit.
Note: We recommend electronic noise canceling ear protection as it will allow you to hear the instructors clearly when they give commands or personal instruction while on the firing line actively shooting.
